Reboot Functional Health Care is Hiring a Medical Assistant Near Virginia, VA

Come join a new and growing practice located the Red Mill area of Virginia Beach. We are an integrative family practice that offers care to adult, womens health and pediatric patients and seeking an experienced medical assistant to join our team.

As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for patient triage, phlebotomy services, injection/vaccine administration, obtaining patient records and test results, coordinating patient referrals, preparing treatment rooms for examinations, and assisting our practitioners during medical procedures. You must be comfortable working independently in a fast paced setting.

You must be certified from a medical assistant program and have at least one to two years of prior experience in a medical setting. The position is full time, no nights, weekends or holiday coverage is required. Full medical/dental benefits and paid time off is also offered.

Medical Assistant Requirements:

  • Must have certification from a medical assistant program or military medical corpsman program.
  • One to two years of experience in a medical setting.
  • Have a high school diploma, bachelor's degree, or equivalent.
  • A basic understanding of patient care, medical terminology, coding procedures, reference tools, and appropriate clinical pharmacology for medical assistant practice scope.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical health care record systems, Athena preferred

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
